1998-  #14 Brad Gentry-  As the SOW6 banner flies for the first year, Brad becomes the first SOW6 points champion.  Sponsored by Gentry Trucking.

1999-  #14 Brad Gentry-  Brad became the first two-time SOW6 champion as the series enjoyed continued growth during it's second year.  Sponsored by Gentry Trucking.

2000- #88 Kenny Reutzel-  Kenny's #88 took the honors this year as the second different SOW6 champion in three years.  Kenny and his family dedicated themselves to the traveling schedule from their Houston, Tx. area residence.  Sponsored by...

2001- #47 Rusty Pipes- After three years of posting numerous wins, Pipes finally shows domination and capitalizes for his first SOW6 championship.  Sponsored by Pipes Foreign Car Parts.

2002- #47 Rusty Pipes-  In claiming his second crown in as many years, Rusty becomes the second driver to post back-to-back SOW6 championships in defense of his title.  Sponsored by Pipes Foreign Car Parts.

2003- #6 Freddie Gates-  After success eluded the #6 in the early years of SOW6, 2003 was all Freddie as he became the 'one to beat'.  'Fast' Freddie found himself up front for most of the season and then as the champion in 2003.   Sponsored by Snyder Floor Coverings.

2004- #51 Terry Monroe-  Terry and  his #51 sprinter captured his first championship in 2004.  Along with driving duties, Terry was the man behind the scenes within SOW6 keeping the series on the road.  Sponsored by Smith-Petty Trophies.

2005- #61 Brad Gentry-  His number was the only thing that changed as 'Bad Brad' once again showed why he is a two-time champion, but this year he stepped it up to become the first three-time SOW6 champion.  Sponsored by Gentry Trucking.

2006- #47 Rusty Pipes-  Back to his winning ways, Rusty captured his record-tying third SOW6 championship this year.  Always a threat to win, Pipes stayed on top as the competition was the toughest its ever been.  In fact, 2006 was the closest points battle in SOW6 history.  Sponsored by Pipes Foreign Auto Parts. 

 2007- #87 Aaron Reutzel-  Reutzel sweeps both the SOW6 Championship presented by Tango Transport and the SOW6 Super Series. First record of father and son both winning championship.

2008- #10 Matt Ebarb-  The "Wild Child" finally gets his way in 2008 and records the most wins during the season.

2009- #1 Marty Hardgroder-  09' was yet another close points battle with Hardgroder edging Ebarb at the end of the season. Marty showed that consistency and dedication will pay off. Marty posted 4 wins and only 1 DNF.
